There is nothing mediocre about this car for sure and a great deal for the price that you ultimately end up paying for it. The 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse Review states that it is a car that will be a social status symbol and get you in the limelight. Not a car to be kept in the garage but to be shown off on the roads.

2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse offers great road holding and handling
The latest 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Review states that this is one car that you need not worry about with the road handling and holding. The V6 in it offers great acceleration.
The flip side of the 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Review is the road noise that it creates. The people seated at the rear might find themselves a wee bit cramped and with not much legroom space. The rear visibility is not up to the mark and so is the rear seat entry and exit. The 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Review mentions about the concerns at the rear end of the car whereas everything is great and hunky dory elsewhere in the car.
This car is a mixture of the hatchback coupe and Spyder convertibles. The car comes along with a manual transmission. If you are keen on the automatic one then you can opt for it as it is optional. It comes along with a power soft top and heated glass windows. All the models have the latest in technology such as alloy wheels, top notch air conditioning and the best in CD stereo around. The power and window locks are standardized for all the models in this series. The fuel economy that it offers the owner is pretty reasonable too. This car is excellent to drive around on any kind of roads. Beware of the maintenance that you might have to shell out on this car. Buyers have considered the maintenance to work out to be quite high based on the price range that you can buy the car at.

1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse – Considering buying a car with great acceleration and an all-wheel drive, then you will find it in the 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse Review. This is one car that has been made with the best of safety features and you can opt for the optional antilock brakes in it. The steering and handling of the car is one of its plus features. You can go ahead and enjoy the mechanical expertise that comes along with the car.
The flip side of the 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse Review is the cargo space which might not be sufficient to cart a huge amount. The rear seats are slightly cramped and there is not much space in there. The noise that this car makes is slightly on the higher side.
The 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse Review states that it is quite similar in terms of the mechanics to another car called the Eagle Talon. The wheel base that comes along with it is 1.6 inches. The RS and GS versions of the car have a 2 liter 4 cylinder engine. The GS-T and the FSX models come with a turbo charged 4 cylinder engines. This can give you up to 210 hp. This car certainly gives great value to the buyer. It looks sleek and is a great performer too. It also gets to score really high on the fuel economy count. Overall the quality of ride that you are offered in this car is significantly better than the other models around.

The 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse is all about the great looks and style that this sporty little coupe is knonw for. The 2008 Eclipse GT is a stunning car to look at, and will get you a whole lot of attention as it cruises past the city roads. The body shape is similar to the one that came along 2004 but yet it has just enough of an update to have that certain wow impact on the buyers.
The 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse is a great example of a perfect sports car. If you want to get the best mix of performance and comfort along with oodles of style all rolled into one car, then this is certainly the car to opt for. There are several good things about this car which you will find out from the 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse Review. It is a good performer and gives a really powerful ride with the V6. There is no concern about the handling of the car. The front seats are super duper comfortable. You get along with it a really swanky stereo. The car is made to take as much cargo in it as you would like to and the hatch body perfectly supports that.
The flip side is the four-cylinder in the base model which might not give peak output as far as performance. Also, it is quite a heavy car when you consider the weight of the other sports coupes around. There is another concern about the back seats not being wide enough. If you can get past the potentially cramped quarters and the lack of power in the four cylinder Eclipse, this is a great sports car to own.

The 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse has recieved a minor update for the 2009 model year, and it does a great job of seperating the old Mitsubishi Eclipse from the new 2009 Eclipse. The Lancer Evolution like front end of the 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse looks amazing, with a blacked out center section built into the bumpers, and includes the grill up to the headlights. The front bumper of the 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse reminds some of the Audi A4 update. The rear bumper also has been updated. Gone is the portly akward looking rear, replaced with a more streamlined two piece unit with a black lower insert set around the exhaust.

The 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse is availabe in two trims. The first of those is the 2.4 liter inline four equiped Eclipse GS. With either a standard 5 speed manual or an automatic transmission as an umgrade, the 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS produces 162 horsepower at just above 6k rpm. Torque is about the same, just a bit over 160 foot lbs. The 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT is a bit more powerfull. 265 horsepower and 260 ft lbs of torque are fed thru a six speed manual transmission as standard, with a 5 speed auto for those who don’t want to shift their own gears. A 3.8 liter V6 engine builds the power, and it begins at a high 5800 rpms.

Also new for the 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse is a considerably stiffer chassis then in prior years. With four wheel independent suspension working to keep the ride streetable, the stiffer chassis does much to improve handling. Additionally, the 17″ (or 18″ on the 2009 Eclipse GT) wheels and anti lock brakes help slow the 2009 Eclipse down. You can also add such upgrades as heated leather front seats, a 650 watt premium audio system, aluminum pedals, and a climate control system to the 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse.

History of the Mitsubishi Eclipse -The Eclipse debuted ten years ago, and it was one of three cars built on the same platform. The first Mitsubishi Eclipse car was built in Normal, Ill., to be sold under the Mitsubishi, Plymoth, and Eagle auto brand names. With its first redesign in 1995 the Plymouth version was dropped. In early 97 the Mitsubishi Eclipse was restyled even further in an effort to differentiate it from its Eagle twin and the Eclipse lineup was grown with the addition of a convertible Spyder, which was a car Mitsubishi engineered from the outset to be a convertible. When the Eagle brand name retired in 1998, the Eclipse remained as the only surviving member of the three siblings. Eclipse’s third generation came to market in 1999. The redesigned convertible version debuted in the spring of 2000.

Trim Details:
The 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse is available in five trims: RS, GS and GT coupes; GS and GT Spyder convertibles. Safety features include dual front airbags, optional side airbags and an optional anti-lock brake system (ABS) for the GT trims. Powering the RS and GS is a new 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower (140 horsepower with the optional automatic transmission), while the GT gets a 3.0-liter 200-horsepower V6. Standard equipment on the RS includes air conditioning, power windows and door locks, a tilt steering wheel, alloy wheels, power mirrors, intermittent wipers, and an AM/FM stereo with CD player. The GS trims upgrade with cruise control, remote keyless entry, 16-inch alloy wheels, a body-color rear spoiler, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, sport fabric seats and a split-folding rear seat. The top-level GT adds 4-wheel disc brakes, 17-inch alloy wheels, sport-tuned suspension, fog lights, rocker panel extensions, large 3-inch diameter tailpipe with bright tip and premium sport cloth seats. The Spyders feature an insulated power-retractable top with a glass rear window. Options include a 210-watt stereo system, a power glass sunroof (coupes) and an in-dash 6-disc CD player.
